Student A: Listen to the yes/no.  Ask me a wh- question.

2.   Is he in Mr. Trego's class?  Whose class?   *谁 的 , de quién
        Answer: Whose class is he in?
3.     Does his class start at 10:00?   What time?
      Answer: What time does his class start?
4.     Can John speak a little English?   How much English?
        Answer: How much English can John speak?

Student B:  Listen to the yes/no.  Ask me a wh- question. 

5.   Did he study English for a year?  How long?
        Answer: How long did he study English? (You don't need to say for.)
6.     Does John work in a Mexican restaurant? 

        What kind of restaurant?

        Answer: What kind of restaurant does John work in?
7.   Does he play soccer in his spare time? Which sport?
       Answer: Which sport does he play in his spare time?
8.     Does he want to improve¹ his English so² he can be a waiter?  Why?    
                        ¹to improve something  改 进, mejorar, улучшать      
                        ² so... 为 的 是, a fin de que
        Answer: Why does he want to improve his English?
